My name is Daphne Lage and I am a cartoonist, illustrator, and comic book artist from New York.
I have been self-publishing comics since 1992. I have also created artwork from children’s illustrations for various companies to numerous pieces commissioned for private collections all over the world. I specialize in traditional media with an emphasis on pen and ink illustration with digital coloring but I have also worked in color pencils, markers, and watercolor.
I have worked on the creative teams for the anime adaptations LA BLUE GIRL and DEMON BEAST INVASION for CENTRAL PARK MEDIA, and TENCHI MUYO for PIONEER COMICS. I am currently known for the funny-animal fantasy adventure TALL TAILS and my medieval fantasy soap opera drama EGORAVEN: HEIR OF THE FIRST UNICORN.
